Appearance: Dark brown, hazy. Some light tan head.
Aroma: Yeast, slight sourness. Tart fruit?
Taste: Sweetness and sourness, actually. Fruits, hops, dry. Not the best from this brewery.

Bottle from Erzbierschof - Hazy brown color with a frothy beige head, long lasting and good lacing - Aroma is malty, grainy, toffee, caramel, biscuits, fruity, dried prune, raisin, very complex aroma - Flavor is grainy, buscuits, red fruits and earthy bitterness - Medium body, fizzy carbonation, medium/high bitterness, dry, long dry bitter earthy finish - interesting and well done, you have a beer a nose and another in the mouth, what you can expect in nose is really different in mouth

Lore (1150) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 25, 2014
hazy brownish orange colour, morerate sized, dense, long lasting yellowish head; aroma of caramel, overripe fruits, floral hops, and hints of honey; taste of intensive maltyness, caramel, honey, fruity notes, some grapefruits and hoppy bitterness - a bit like a barley wine with lower amount of malts and hops - a BARELY wine :-)

Yeasty and lively beer with a body of caramalt and bitter hops. Bit grassy and dry palate. Like a yeasty saison.

Pours a medium brown into a pint glass with two inches of head. I can’t recognize any fruit or other aromas besides malt when smelling which might just be my inexperienced palette. But the taste is between an English bitter and a pilsner, typical of the saaz hops anyway. Lighter than a stout with medium carbonation. Quite a bit of sediment. Decent but I wouldn’t seek it out on purpose. De Molen has better beers out there.
