Draught @ Brouwerij de Molen, Overtocht 43, Bodegraven, 2411 BT Netherlands.
Unclear medium orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good - excellent lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, molasses, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Very easy to drink ;o). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090226]

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, and milk. The flavor is acidic malty with notes of peaches and lighter notes of alcohol and brettanomyces, leading to a dry spicy and slightly woody finish.

From bottle, no 7 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours hazy deep orange to amber and with a diminished white head. Acidic aroma and with a mild berry note. Somewhat subdued sweaty note reaches my nose. Flavour holds a nice sweet caramel flavour with a mild acidity lingering inbetween. Ends with a lingering malt sweetness and a bitterness into the finish.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of jbrus. Very unclear, muddy amber colour with a lightly creamy, off-white head. There’s a vague tartness in the aroma. Medium body with a lightly caramellish sweetness and a somewhat astringent, citrusy acidity. Perhaps a tad infected but not uninteresting or undrinkable at all. 301107

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Slightly hazy murky deep orangeish copper colour with a mediumsized yellowish beige head. Aroma is citrus fruits, some slight sweet malts as well as some spices and yeastyness. Flavour is quite strong sweet malts along with citrus fruits, some mild floral and grassy notes. Also mild yeast and some slight alcohol. Caramel and mild raisins as well. Quite pleasantly balanced. Once it warms up it also gets some slight strange hoppyness and mild liquorice.

Corked bottle

Cloudy amber color, thin creamy head. The aroma is together buttery and with vanilla; I mean, in its infection it’s stylish ;-) . Simple flavor with maybe some sweet malt and milk chocolate, but deeply covered by the infection.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2009 Bottle, 8.5%. Sour, slightly farty, malty, spicy hop aroma. Hazy orange colour. Nice, big stable, light brown head. Slightly sour flavour, quite malty and refreshing. The aftertaste is roasted with a good alcohol note. Good mouthfeel.
