From bottle, no 7 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours hazy deep orange to amber and with a diminished white head. Acidic aroma and with a mild berry note. Somewhat subdued sweaty note reaches my nose. Flavour holds a nice sweet caramel flavour with a mild acidity lingering inbetween. Ends with a lingering malt sweetness and a bitterness into the finish.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2007
(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of jbrus. Very unclear, muddy amber colour with a lightly creamy, off-white head. There’s a vague tartness in the aroma. Medium body with a lightly caramellish sweetness and a somewhat astringent, citrusy acidity. Perhaps a tad infected but not uninteresting or undrinkable at all. 301107

Also mild yeast and some slight alcohol. Caramel and mild raisins as well. Quite pleasantly balanced. Once it warms up it also gets some slight strange hoppyness and mild liquorice.
