joshwilfong (537), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 4, 2008 brown with strong tan head. tastes almost like a flemish sour, with flavors of sweet malt and some sourness to the finish. an enjoyable beer
Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 3, 2008 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, and milk. The flavor is acidic malty with notes of peaches and lighter notes of alcohol and brettanomyces, leading to a dry spicy and slightly woody finish. thebeertourist (1889), Oslo, Norway Sep 20, 2008 From bottle at Arendsnest. Dark copper with an off-white head. Spicy, tart fruit aroma, combining with caramel. Malt flavours, hint of light roast, fruit and earthy hops. Full-bodied. Another hit from de Molen. NoiZe (947), Zeist, Netherlands Aug 28, 2008 Amber, orange colored brew. Spicy aroma. Flavor is spicy too, some fruits, sweetness and some modest floral hopbitterness. Enjoyable. Ughsmash (3082), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 12, 2008 Bottled, BB 9/14/2009. Poured clear coppery-golden with some rising carbonation and a nice creamy cap of beige head. The aroma picked up strong toasted caramel and toffee, showing off more than enough alcohol.. spicy peppery notes singe the nostrils, and a drier honey came through on the back. The flavor was along those same lines with rich, vodka-laced caramel and honey at the core and peppery spices plus floral bitterness at the edges.. hot, grainier finish. Medium-bodied with higher carbonation on the palate.. hot, malt likka-like finish.. not what I expected.
