Smak och doft av portvin, läder, cognacfat. Oljig konsistens. Välbalanserad. Riktigt fin.

Appearance: Deep ruby color with almost no head.
Aroma: Port wine.
Palate: Medium to full body. A bit sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Very complex. Dominating fruity and oak. Dangerously well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Lovely evening sipper.

Bottle at Mikkeller&Friends. Pours a dark red with no head. Smells of cognac and red fruits. Tastes stunning, with dark overripe berries, fig, raisin, sweet brown sugar, aged cognac, some oak. Body is smooth with very little carbonation. Finishes sweet and mildly tart. An amazing offering.

Draft @ Ölrepubliken. Pours clear ruby mahohany with no head. Aroma is fantastic fruity raisins prunes fidges port wine. Flavor is fullbodied velvety port fruity vinous raisins fidges; fantastic.

Draught at the Ölrepubliken tap takeover. Shady ruby with a tiny head. Intense fruity, nutty, caramelly and vinous malt aroma with raisins and figs, no alcohol whatsoever. Full bodied, low carbonation. Sweet with low to medium bitterness. Wonderful malt bomb, so much better than Bommen & Granaten.

Draught at Ölrepubliken during De Molen Tap Takeover. Deep ruby color with a small beige head. Huge raisin aroma, caramel, pine apples, prunes, dades, citrus, grapes, banana notes, vinous, biscuits, some woody notes. Raisin flavor, grapes, dades, sweetish, banana notes. Alcohol is very well hidden.

On tap @ Ölrepubliken. Dark amber with a tiny tan head. Fruity and malty tones. Fruit ( raisins, plums ), malt and sweetness. Full body with a long fruity / sweet finish.

Hazy dark reddish brown color, minute tan head. Very sweet, raisin, sirup taste. Sweet and loads of raisin aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, very low bitterness. Sweet raisin scent. Also dates and figs.
If you like very sweet, not at all bitter, raisin infused beer, you will love this one, like I did!
