330 ml bottle. Dark brown with small tan head. Aroma sweet with brown sugar and molasses, chocolate, roasted malts and hints of coffee. Taste is about that same, very complex and volatile. Notes of darker fruit, chocolate, molasses with a faintly chocolate/bitter finish.

Pours a deep mahogany color with a finger or so of eggshell fizz. The nose is a bit sweet caramel, tight booze and a touch of grass. The palate follows the nose with dark fruit, sweet burnt sugar and some real bitter grassiness that takes over from mid to late palate. A lil thin on the mouthfeel as well. Not bad but nothing to special either.

On tap @ Ölrepubliken. Dark brown with a small tan head. Malty and fruity notes. Malt, fruit, caramel and hops. Full body with a bitter sweet after taste.

Nose of syrup. Beige slightly yellow head. Dark reddish black color. Taste of coffee and chocolate. Some bitterness too. Some licorice and syrup. Good.

Bottle @ Pikkulintu. Pours dark reddish with a cloudy dark white head and slight chocolate in scent. Notes of good dark chocolate, roasted nuts. Smooth silky . Really drinkable. Could not have guessed the alcohol level at first, hides the ABV extremely well. Some good spices in there too.

33cl bottle from de hopduvel in Gent. Dark brown with alight brow rocky head. Very fruity aroma of black berries. Tastes sweet with soft bitter finish. I like this one ****

Cerveza oscura, sabor muy dulce y achocolatado. Bastante fuerte de alcohol, aunque no se nota demasiado. Ideal como postre.

Really interesting beer. Pours a dark cola colour with off-white head. Aromas are strawberries, milk chocolate, and a touch of smoke. Sweet berry and chocolate flavours - a stronger finish, almost liquore like, with a touch of burnt sugar. Very interesting, and good!

Thanks for cards04 for this. Dark body with brown head. Aroma of over-ripe strawberries, sweet candy, malts. Taste is sweet and malty. Quite a nice strong ale here.
