bottle, smelled exactly like malta goya and molasses. Very sweet and very difficult to drink. Was basically a bottle of molasses. Meh.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2014 Bottle, 35 cl. Pours deep brown with small brownish head that goes into some lacing. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, roasted meat, nuts, burnt sugar. Taste has some syrupy malty sweetness and medium bitter finish with very light salty feel. Alcohol is almost undetectable, maybe some little warming down the throat can be felt from sip to sip. Full body, bit oily, very enjoyable. Very good beer for colder evenings

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A dark brown beer, nearly black, opaque, with some yeast sediments ; medium beige head with a poor retention. Aroma of caramel, roast, fruits (prune, candied fruits), spices, herbs. Medium to heavy sweet waves, medium dry bitter background : "beach". Medium to heavy body, medium oily texture, soft crabonation, sweet lasting warming finish. Overall, very good : sweet, sunny with some wind ; good character.

Couleur sombre noire, reflets caramel, mousse qui disparait. Fort nez malté, fruits noirs, figue, caramel brulé, note réglisse. Gout malté chocolat, fruits noirs, réglisse, figue, note légère d’épices, cacao, fruits secs, bon alcool. Super corps , bien balancé. Fin intense sur la reglisse. Nickel! Digne d’une triple ou quadruple d’abbaye de haut niveau.
