Taste dark fruits, candy sugar, hops, quite sweet, brown sugar, molasses, chocolate, raisins. MF full body light carb. Very tasty brew quite surprising well done way above average. Thanks Slovaksniper!!!

Pours brown with a stupidly large head, crazily over-carbed. Nose shows chocolate fudge, raisins, faint roasted malt, cocoa, spicy hops, soft booze and golden syrup. Amazing. Very similar flavours, more chocolate, raisins, booze and golden syrup. The roasted malt is more noticeable here. Thick, syrupy body; a little too much.

Bottle, at Patricks. It pours a clear looking very dark brown, almost black body, under a creamy, dark beige head of moderate size. Lacings. The aroma has coffee, chocolate and roasted malts, very smooth. Itís full-bodied, smooth and lightly warming. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and a pleasant bitterness. Long finish with roasted malts and chocolate. A rather pleasant one, tasteful and smooth. Certainly one to revisit. 120128

A colablack beer with a big and light brown head. Aroma is very pleasant, liquirice, dark and dried fruits, roastiness, spicyness and aromatic hops. Liquirice, roastiness, nicely some fruitfull like hoppyness and dark fruits. Full- bodied, lots of carbonation and lighter to drink than could be assumed due to high alc.%. Again, great beer from De Molen, enjoyable, strong Imperial Stout -like beer with fresh and fruitfull nuancees.

Bottle. A sweet aroma, quite malty, a little bit fruity in the background. The large brown head is foamy and creamy with a long duration. The body is black. A strong taste of malt, strong amount of roasted malt, some chocolate. The finish is long and quite bitter, very nice. The body is strong, oily and creamy with a soft carbonation. A very good beer!

Pours like a slightly translucent imperial stout. Dark brown color and full head. Strong coffee-like aromas and roasted caramel. Taste and mouthfeel both crisp and light for the gravity. Hops are well balanced in a new-wave hop-heavy sense. This is a strong belgian without the syrupy sweetness that many have.

0.33l bottle. Itís a slow gusher this one and it pours a deep deep ruby-brown body with a nice big and lasting tan head. The aroma is quite delicious and sweet. Lots and lots of fruit pastilles, candy, roasted aromas and some thin hints of cardboard and yeast. I quite liked this one! Itís really heavy and almost aggressive on the carbonation with a medium oily mouthfeel. It again has lots of sweet-fruitiness, this time on the flavors. Some roastiness and licorice here also and itís really dry towards the finish. A bit disturbing the carbonation levels, but it settled down nicely after a while. Ends quite on the bitter side. I quite liked this one.
