Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Poured a very dense murky dark brown colour with a huge tan head which hung around and then some. Cracking snout of fragrant hop, yeast, caramel malt and dark fruits. Lovely creamy smooth mouthfeel. Flavour was a similar treat with loads happening.....roasted coffee, earthy hop, malts, a little booze. Long lingering finish. Oh so drinkable. Yumdidlyumyum.

Stevig vol bier.

Darkbrown coloured beer with large brownish head and medium carbonation. Malty sweet aroma with lots of roasted hints. Full creamy palate. Finish is sweet malty with hints of coffe like a stout and a slight bitter touch. Nice one.

Pours black with tan head, looks like a stout. Aroma is very smokey, some coffee. Up front taste is quite soapy, not in a good way. Luckily this quickly makes way to to a deep chocolate, coffee, woody, dark fruit, smokey deep dark flavour. Aftertaste is gorgeous, lingering flavour of chocolate. The soapy note is bothering me as this is otherwise a very tasty drink. Belgian quad meets imperial stout. Mouthfeel is very creamy, high carbonation

Overwhelming head, which goes down quick because the bubbles seem to be large and burst soon .The head is brown, and liquid is pretty black. Against window I see a bit light coming though so not pitch black, but quite stout style colour. Smell is malty, sweet and there’s clearly hops. The beer is strong in malts, bread like in aroma, and hops come strong after a while with spruce aroma. Texture is creamy , there’s plenty of carbonation and finish is long.

Bottled. Muddy dark mahogany colour. Explosive and superlively upon opening, please open in the shower... Aroma of lingonberry and caramel. Full bodied with soft, cottony mouthfee. Warming with notes of Baileys and shisky. Loads of caramel wrapped in spun sugar. The bitterness appears in balance with the massive sweetness and rich body.
