Bottle from the Otown throwdown. godofthunder, thanks! Bottle 211. Looks like a ruby red grapefruit. Nose if funky, leather, apples. flavor is somewhat sweet with a bit of funky tartness and dry with some grapefruit flavors.

Wenig herber Antrunk mit eher künstlich wirkender Note, definitiv nicht sauer. Etwas muffig im Mittelteil wirkend, an Lambic erinnert hier nicht sehr viel. Etwas herb-süßlich, mit unpassender Bitternote, das Kirscharoma wirkt wie von Sirup. Künstlich schmeckend. -/6/7/6/-/5

Muddy red amber with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, funk and a little wood. Sweet fruity flavour with nice funk and a slightly tart finish

Bottle @ RBESG, Rome. Vintage. Pours muddy pink with a white foam. Nose is dust, yeast and cherries. Medium bodied. Dust, cherries and marzipan. Well aged

Bottle. Cloudy reddish with a creamy light pink head. The aroma is spicy dry yeast, some brett and fruit. The flavour is sweet, fruity, candy with some caramel.

Bottle at RBESG 2010, Rome. Cloudy pink - light pink head. Soapy. Fruity. Red berries. Light wheaty. Marmelade. Sweetness. Light bitterness. Ok.

Bottled. An unclear pinkish beer with a pink head. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries on a lightly matly back ground. The flavor is sweet with notes of raspberries, and fruit on a lightly malty back ground. The body is light.

Courtesy of Fonefan, thanks Jan. The color is beautiful orange-red and the head is creamy and peach colored. The aroma has light note of barnyard, berries, plum and wood. The flavour has a sourness and a sweetness and notes of barnyard, plum, berries and light wood. It’s a vintage 2008 and now it’s in the beginning of 2010, but the lambic-touch is still rather low.

Pinky brown with a slight haze and a good pink white head. An ususual smoky labic type aroma. The flavour is excellent. Big and fruity but surprisingly mellow at the same time. Not too tart, not too sweet just very mellow and drinkable. Insanely downable. Almost a session lambic but at 6.2%!Impressive stuff Menno.

Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Pinkish. No head to speak of. Pleasing soft fruity cherry aroma. More cherries on the palate. Quite sweet, but tart too. Not that big on lambic colour. Appealing if not one of the more demanding beers in the De Molen repertoire. Very enjoyable.

At Chriso’s pre GBBF tasting 09. Hazy pink red beer with pink lasting head. Some farmyard funk. Sweetish cherry, expected more funk. Good fruit. Easy drinking. I like it, not complex but jeez does Menno ever let up on styles?
