[ Bottle #101 ]. Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee, dusty coffee. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee, chocolate. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100904]

Bottled. Quite much pitch black colour with a big brown creamy head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, some toffee and mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is coffee, liquorice, roasted malts, ashes as well as some toffeeish notes. A rather pleasantly balanced strong stout.

Draft @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty heavy coffee aroma with some weak hints of vanilla. Roasted malty coffee flavor with some hints of chocolate and vanila. Has a roasted malty strong coffee finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Very dark brown beer with a tiny little head. Softish dry palate. Fresh light and minerally but with a great depth of rich coffee flavours. Manages to be not bitter and has a little lactose sweetness. A great fresh coffee beer.
