Dark, almost black colored beer with a very small head and low carbonation. Smells a bit strange first. It takes some time before I recognize the mocca in the aroma. Taste: mocca, coffee, liquor, pure chocolate, wood and alcohol warming coming up at the end. Very good

Bottle at home - 19/11/12 thanks to Dennis. Pours dark cola brown in colour with a tan head that soon clears to a tiny film and nothing on the edges. Prickly looking bubbles dance atop the glass. Big coffee nose, minerals, slightly musty/earthy, roast malts but in the background, it’s really all about the coffee. Taste follows nose, coffee slightly more tempered, chocolate, a little smoke, metallic notes, you pick up a little booze as you swallow but well disguised for 11.6%. Medium bodied - if anything ptretty thin for 11.6%, soft carbonation, roasty coffee infused finish. Overall - a let down, balance not quite right - a little musty and way too thin.

0,33 Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika @ home. Pours black with a medium brown creamy head. Nice aroma of dark coffee and some smoke. Taste is the same with a medium bitterness and a strong mocca taste. Quite complex and interesting stuff.

Bottle from Vika, enjoyed at home, september 21st 2012. Very dark brown colored body, foamy beige head. Aroma of coffee, rubber, a bit smoke. Taste follows with a roasty and sweet malt base, chocolate, ashes, and a good bitterness. The smoke stays through the aftertaste, together with coffee and yeast notes. A very nice beer.

Bottle. Black with no head. Unsurprisingly coffee dominates both the aroma and flavour. A bit of chocolate starts to appear as it warms. Quite sweet and the alcohol is well hidden. I’ve had better coffee beers.

Black with a small brown head - roasted malt and coffee aromas - good malt in the background with a lot of coffee as the dominant flavour, with some hints of smoke in the back - the coffee taste continues for a long time into the finish, with the alcohol well hidden - this was very good

Bottle, pours dark brown with very small head. Aroma is dark roasted coffee, some chocolate, licorice. Taste is like aroma with some sweetness. Full body, soft carbon. Pretty straight forward coffee IS.
