(bottle) pours a pitch black colour with a huge creamy dark beige head. aroma of brown sugar and spicy hops, milk chocolate icing, toasted malts and espresso, with a hint of mango, very earthy. flavour is mostly the same, lots of chocolate, coffee and earth, with a hint of caramel, some very light notes of strawberries and no alcohol detectable. surprisingly thin-bodied with soft carbonation. not as good as the earlier incarnations.

33cl bottle pours deep dark mahogany with tan like head of foam. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, some burnt malts, wet pavement earthiness and then a chili pepper meat like note. Interesting. The taste has nice rich dark roasted maltiness followed by burnt malts and then an earthy sort of peatiness. It picks up additional notes of chocolate brownie and additional burnt malts notes into the finish. Solid brew.
