Bottle @ unibaren, 20 / 7 2013. Dark clear brown, not a lot of head or lacing. Aroma, used coffe filter (and i mean that in the best way), roasted malts, bitter chocolate, some alcohol. Taste, bitter coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, . Bitter dry coffee aftertaste. Good mouth feel, not too much carbonation. The aroma is amazing, I don’t know how you make old coffee smell good, but they do.

Tap @ Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Quite a lot of lacing and colouring of the glass. Aroma is toasty with some french roast-ish notes, black chocolate, espresso, sweet liqourice, some raisin and a faint hint of vanilla. Some bready and earthy stuff as well. Complex! .. Taste is a bit more straightforward and surprisingly mild and easily drinkable, considering the abv. It starts out sweet but lands on a mild bitterness. Not so much coffee in the taste; more in the vein of milky chocolate and latte cream. More dark fruits and bready stuff as it warms. Very delicious.

Draught at Fermentoren. Low but lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Roasted malt coffee aroma. In spite of the high alcohol percentage the flavor is smooth and pleasant creamy roasted malt coffee with a fair amount of hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish. Alcohol well hidden.

Mocca ezerrel. Nagyon markánsan érződik, nem számítottam rá. Finom kis sör, de nekem tolakodó volt kissé. Adok neki második esélyt! ;-)

Bottle. Pitchblack. No head. Aroma of sweet roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, veggies. Taste is espresso-ish, chocolate, brown sugar, cacao, rahter sweet with a sourish ending. Very thin for an imperial stout which is always a big turn off for me. I don´t quite get it, with all those ingredients I should love this., but I dont´t really care for this one to be honest.

Recenzja z 17.12.2013. Kolor ciemnobrunatny, prawie czarny. Goryczka srednia, alkoholowo-chmielowa, piekaca i trawiasta. Wysycenie niskie. Jak na piwo o takim woltazu, to jest bardzo pijalne. Niczym niestety nie zachwyca, ale bardzo solidny imperial porter.

33cl bottle. Pours black with a beautiful beige head. Very strong and rich smell of toasted malts, plums, raisins, cherries, berries, burnt sugar, some coffee, a hint of soy sauce. Some alcohol detectable. Taste is a lot of coffee, roasted malts, caramel, some liquor. Good bitter finish. Excellent.

0,33 l bottle, Csakajósör, Budapest.
Black, huge body with a small lacing beige head. Roasted grainy character with a huge ammount of coffee in the nose, a bit alcoholic liquerice. Surprisingly easy bodied with small bubbles. Coffee of course with ash and roasted grains, alcohol.
