3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. An unclear, dark brown beer topped by a rim of dark beige bubbles. The aroma is very burnt and mocha-ish. Concrete dust. Pea soup. In a nice way. Too extreme though. And that goes for the flavor too, but it’s less dusty. Some sourish notes and alcohol. Medium body, slightly warming. Very low on carbonation. Lasting finish. Sort of nice, but too burnt and dusty for me. One small glass was fine, couldn’t do more though. 140927

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2012 Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours black with bubbles on top. Nose is mocha and roast. Coffee bean - Cold coffee. Medium bodied. Low and just flat carbonation - so sad. Alcohol well hidden. Lovely coffee/mocha thing going on.
Re-Rate august 12. Perfect level of carbonation. Smooth and dry. Mocha, roast and coffee.. Awesome!
