Sometimes things go wrong at a brewery. While brewing our Donder & Bliksem a mistake was made and we added a lot of malts that weren’t suppose to go in this brew. This is how our Bohemian Lager turned into a Schwarzbier. As you see, we turn our Difficulties into a Virtue.

Rather weak schwarz. I can see why this is a mistake. Watery with weak palate. Then again it is also a De Molen. Some chocolate, raisin, fruit. Still pretty, just not regular De Molen standard. Bottle from De Bierkoning.

A colablack beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma is ryebready and sour, roastiness, some sweetness and herbs. Taste is (rye)bready, lots of roastiness, still enough of sweetness, also dry, herbal bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, nice carbonation. Basic, bready and herbal schwartzbier without weaknesess.
