Hazy red color, small off-white head. Yeasty, tobacco ash and smoke. Medium-bodied. Very yeasty, wet wood, hard malts, caramelly malty. Not very good beer from otherwise excellent brewery.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty dry bitter hoppy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a dry malty bitter finish with hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

Bottled@Monks Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm Ƙ.2% ABV). Reddish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some slight notes of nuttyness as well as earth. Flavour is fruits, wood, some mild bready notes as well as some slight sour fruits and mild nuttyness.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm, 8.2%) Dark copper colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, orange peel and winegum. Malty taste with dried fruit, caramel and a fairly dry, spicy finish. Slightly above medium body with a solid malt foundation. Omhpers term Imperial Vienna seems quite well placed. Nice beer.

Bottled at Monks Café, Stockholm. 8.2 ABV. Pours out in a clear reddish amber colour with a large rocky white foam. Malty and solid aroma of toasted malts neutral yeast, marzipan and caramel. Nearly full-bodied with notes of toasted malts, berries, nut-shells and bread crusts. Chewy mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of toasted malts, almonds, crackers and alcohol.

On tap at Brasserie 4:20, Roma. Hazy red copper with a yellowish head. fruity aroma and flavours, some offsetting bitterness. Good enough, but lacking some bock character.
