skortila (2400), Bunnik, Netherlands Mar 24, 2008 Bottled. Aroma of grassy german hops, grainy and somewhat flowery. Hazy, yellow coloured with a lasting, medium, white head. Taste is very bitter, grassy and citric. Very strongly hopped. Weird actually. It tastes like a normal grain beer with a huge hop layer around it. Doesn’t seem to mix. Interesting try out though.
thewolf (3650), Kolding, Denmark Jun 7, 2008 Bottle. [thank you, skortila/caesar]
Pours pale, and lightly hazy yellow with a big frothy white head that turns more and more creamy. Very steady head. Aroma has fresh barley, grassy hops and a citric touch. Much like a wit. Light carbonation giving a wonderful creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is surprisingly hoppy, very grassy. Good freshness - wonderful in the sun. NoiZe (904), Zeist, Netherlands Apr 13, 2008 Golden colored brew. Grainy, grassy aroma and flavor. Grassy, hoppy bitterness. Interesting brew. caesar (2514), Zeist, Netherlands Mar 27, 2008 Bottled. Cloudy golden color, medium head. Aroma of grain, bit grassy, strong hop. Taste starts very grainy as well, slight grassy and slight yeasty, but in the end the bitterness kicks in. Aftertaste is mostly bitter. Decent stuff. bierkoning (4738), La Tropica, Netherlands Jan 14, 2008 75 cl corked bottle. Light golden color, foamy head. Flowery, peppery hops and a dash of milk in the aroma. Firm, peppery, oily, flowery and slighty citric hopflavor. This beers seems really heavily hopped. This overshadows the bready, even a bit buttery character of this brew. Very tasty session beer!
