3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jamestulloch (477) - Edinburgh, - MAY 9, 2012Aroma: Sugar cane sweetness, white pepper and a musty, yeasty aroma.
Appearance: Hazy golden body with yeast flecks floating. Huge white head that lasts. Lots of carbonation. Slight lacing.
Taste: Very yeasty. Initial sweetness is replaced by a dampened citrus bitterness. Slightly bland.
Palate: Thin, watery mouthfeel. Lively carbonation on the tongue.
Overall: This is my first beer by Brouwerij de Molen and, given their reputation, it’s a bit of a disappointment.

Didn’t realize u was paying premium import prices for a bitter. These guys do it well but nothing overly special here. Pours cloudy orange with good head and lacing. Aroma Italy, some resin. Bitter finish. Bottle from Steamworks store.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 patxa (60) - MEXICO - MAY 8, 2013
A thick yellowish color, with an extra dose of co2 wich will generate lots of foam. The aroma is a reminder of a mild IPA, as well as the palate. Notes of corn, malts and belgian hops On both the palate and retro taste, but a non satisfactory finish, rather weak and alcoholic. Great aroma and good bitterness makes this beer an enjoyable one nonetheless.

Very nice to drink bitter and super easy to drink. Medium hazy orange with a frothy, hugs the glass lacy, white, head. Smell is not of a traditional English Bitter but defiantly American influenced. Toasted malt, caramel, citrus-grapefruit, peach, yeast and some light grassy hops. Light thin body with soft carbonation. Tastes of fruit (melon, grape, peach) with caramel and toasted malt. Some orange citrus. Bitter lasting dry pine finish. Light maltiness and a bit watery but it went down very easy.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bytemesis (1413) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - APR 24, 2013
Bottle - thanks Mr. Hangover! Pours hazy amber with a gigantic creamy white head. Takes forever to pour a full glass. I am sure it laces well, but come on!. Aroma is a light mix of pine, caramel, grain. Flavor is about the same. Minimal sweetness, light bitterness. Light bodied and refreshing. Not flat despite the amount of CO2 that went into foam generation. Pretty average beer

Little cloudy orange to amber beer, irregular off-white head, bit stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet ripe fruits, bit chemical, paint, sweet sugary malts. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: fruity, some citrus, grassy, hops, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: pretty watery, bit chemical bitterness, little sourish. Meh.
