Bottle. Severe caramel nose, muted by some pale malt, with a mix of ripe fruit and cat piss. Light hazy orange/amber color, thin head. Thick caramel initial, tropical fruit, sweet malty mid, and it reaches a pleasant balance in final. Medium heavy body, creamy. Gets just to the edge of cloying and then pulls back in the finish. Good stuff.

Pours opaque orange-amber. Medium amount of light tan head. Aroma is mainly orange peel, with a bit of pine. Has that rich aroma like most things from De Molen. Not very bitter, and rather orangey. Velvety body. Sour finish.

Bottle on: 2013-09-02 De color naranja cobre, un poco turbia y mate.

Attractive amber colour, creamy off-white head. Over-ripe fruit, pineapple, musty, earthy, blue cheese aromas. Taste is quite sweet up-front, tangy, grapefruit notes following. Palate is perhaps too rich for me with the initial sweetness. After-taste not too bitter. Very good.

Bottled. 30cl sample. The aroma has toffee, caramel, raisin, orange. Hazy, orange-brown coloured beer with an off-white, medium, lasting head. The taste is moderate bitter, has toffee sweetness, oranges, dried fruits. Pretty nice, considering the fact that I should have drink this one 1,5 year ago. :-) Now it’s Barley wine-ish.

Very sweet aroma and flavor. Plum, fermented fruit. More like a barley wine. Maybe because of the bottling 09.13

3.8.2014. Simcoe, cascade, citra. Dark amber colour with brownish head. Caramel, malted barley, raisin and piny hops on the nose. Taste is pretty caramel, sweetish, wood, zest. Full bodied, massive IPA with some barley wine elements.
