[10/13/13] Draught at Arend’s Nest in Amsterdam. Deep hazy reddish amber. Nice aroma of citric and piney hops with some tropical fruits and some caramelly malt. Flavor has some sweetish caramelly malt, piney and resinous hops, slightly fruity and a bitter finish, a bit red-grapefruity. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice.

deyholla (6861) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 23, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep orange with a golden hue and a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of pine and resin with a bit of grapefruit and underlying sweet grains. Flavor is a bit mellowed with pine upfront but has a growing resin note and a sweet grain backbone.

Aromas of hop fruits, citrus, pine, mango, peach, bitters, some tea herbs, cream, herbal spices, light yeast lemon tone, hay and floral tones. Flavours of citrus, pine, mango, grapefruit, some peach and some grapes, bitters, cream, herbs, floral tones, spices, light crispy berry tartness, light sticky. Overall a crispy fruity hoppy mix. Nice! Aftertaste os a mix of hop fruits, grapefruits, citrus and pine, bitters, cream, herbs and floral tones. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and a creamy light oily texture. A good DIPA! Even it is not my face style, this is a good beer!
