Very hoppy and fruity taste, heavy alcohol on the palate, very much like a US DIPA

Blumig süßer Hopfenantrunk, was sich im Mittelteil noch deutlich steigert. Zu süß, fruchtig und minimal alkoholisch. Wenig herb, unrund. 11/9/7/9/9/8

Skład: woda, słód (pale i karmelowy), chmiel (apollo, simcoe, cascade, citra), drożdże górnej fermentacji. Barwa: ciemno bursztynowa, miedziana, klarowna. Piana biała drobno pecherzykowa, średnich rozmiarów. Opadająca, ale ładnie oblepiająca szkło. Aromat: początkowo kuszący cytrusami i bardzo intensywny. Z czasem niestety gaśnie na rzecz nut alkoholowych i rozpuszczalnikowych. Smak: pełny słodowy, słodki, ale niestety utleniony. Wyczuwalna spora goryczka, jednak jakby nieco zleżałego chmielu.

Bottle from NWAF, Derby. Drank at home. Honey coloured pour with a white head. Peach, pineapple and apricot aroma. Quite a dry number. Flavours of yellow melon, peach. Rich, boozy flavour. Pleasant alcohol burn. Dry, fruit laden finish. Damned tasty!

Idiosynkrasie (3804) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 4, 2014
330ml bottle. Hazy, dark copper colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Citrusy, fruity hop aroma with a mineral touch, hints of blood orange, grapefruit, mandarine. Taste is almost more sourish than bitter hoppy, fruity hints of blood orange, grapefruit, mandarine, kumquat, caramel malty basis with some biscuit; slightly too lively carbonation that is somehow typical for Dutch IPAs. Not sooo bad.

Bottled, dated 02/09/13, large sample. Almost clear amber color, short lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is quite hoppy of citrus, grapefruit, pine, hint of lychee, hint of biscuity malt. Quite thick body. Medium bitter in taste, quite fruity bitterness. It has some biscuity sweetness, but that feeling is increased by the citrussy bitterness from the hops. Bit sticky finish though, showing some residual sugars. I quite like it, but that’s not surprising considering the citra, simcoe and cascade. :-)

330ml bottle from Bierkompass

Bottled 02/09/13 - Pours dark orange with a small bubbly head. Aroma of glue, syrupy notes, malts, exotic fruits and grassy hops. Taste is sweet, yeasty, stuffy and syrupy with notes of glue, berries, exotic fruits and grass. Finish is sweet, caramely and bitter with notes of berries, syrup, toffee and glue. Quite unbalanced DIPA.

From an unchilled bootle. Floral aroma, quite sweet, almost soapy taste. Maybe not at it’s best condition
