Hazy amber beer with a tidy white head. Minerally crisp palate. Thin malt base, pretty neutral. Ripe orange hops that are a little tangy. Whisper of marmalade before it turns slightly acidic lemon. Pink grapefruit before the crisp finish. Refreshing.

Bottle. It pours a glowing dark orange-golden body, unclear, topped by a two-finger off-white head. Lemon, lemon peel and orange zest in the aroma, with some faint spiced and malty notes in the far back. It’s quite bitter on the palate, with too much carbonation going on. Medium to full body, semi-sweet. There’s some malty sweetness in the flavor, but the hops dominates. Lemon peel and orange zest, with some resin and a faint grassy touch. Lasting bitter and citrusy finish. There’s way too much carbonation going on, else it’s a fine beer, tasteful and quite refreshing too. 140920
