Ap: Hazy, orange. White fluffy head. Some yeast floating around when the whole bottle was poured, looks bottle conditioned (but I don’t think it is?). Ar: Big hoppy aroma, citrus, pine, some bread. Really fresh aroma! T: Citrus, tropical fruits. Some (little) initial sweetness which develops to a medium bitterness. P: Light body, thin texture, medium carbonation.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. The beer is amber colored and has a large and stable creamy head, with lots of carbonation. The aroma is hoppy and fruity, with light notes of malts and tones from the citra hops (lemon, mango and tropical fruits). The taste is light bodied and similair to the aroma with some nice fruity and hoppy notes and malts. The finish is dry, medium bitter and refreshing.

Floral hops, light citrus fruits, grain malts, light grass. Clear, dark gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium bitter. Floral hops again, bitterness continues, grass, soft carbonation, medium bodied, lightly bitter finish. Decent APA, yet nothing extraordinary, a bit light in both aroma and palate. Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry.

Bottle from Brewdog shop. Pours very hazy amber with thick white head and lacing. Aroma is lemon, pineapple, soap and light caramel. Taste is quite bitter, watery, yeasty and not the most pleasant soapy aftertaste. Had one of these in Holland and was much nicer. Don’t think it’s travelled very well and also was on the old side. Shame.

On tap at Grünerløkka mat- og mikrobryggfestival 2015. Unclear amber body with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy with caramel and grass. Taste of tropical fruits, mild piney, with a sweet malt base. Straight forward and simple, light but refreshing.

Espuma blanquecina bastante prominente, color anaranjado y opaco, se aprecian pequeñas burbujas brotando, mucho aroma en nariz, con notas cítricas, sabor con nuevas notas cítricas finalizando con un leve amargor y regusto corto

Bottle 33cl. Beige colour, fluffy bright white top. Lots of carbonation. Aroma has malts and dry hops. The taste is plain bitter, IPA style. Rather dry aftertaste.

(Keg at Oljenkorsi, 20160513) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, peach and biscuits. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, soap, spiciness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A bit weird hoppy pala ale.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

A cloudy, dark yellow colored beer with a lot of depot, and it has a slightly yellow colored fluffy layer of foam. The aroma contains hints of citrus, and also some sweetness like from a mango. It has a nice full bitter taste where the fruity bit is present for the first few seconds, but than it quickly moves on into it’s bitter aftertaste, which is quite present.
