Barrel Aged Sour Ale. The bottled version has another mix of sour beers as the cask version, so is included as a separate beer.

Countbeer (5127) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2013
Bottle: Served in a Duvel glass. Smaller bubbly white head/lacing on top of a hazy darker yellow to orange colored beer. Aromas of vinegar, pee, asperagus, grains, yeast and light wood hints. Flavours of medium sour, yeast, fruit like dried peach, flowers, wood, sweet sour, light spicy, bitter, hint of malts some older hops and spicy floral tones. Aftertaste is light sour, lemon acidity, some bitters, malts and yeast. Low to no carbo, creamy oily mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a soft silky oily texture. Way (!) better than the draught version. This one is even enjoyable...

Bottle at WWT3. Poured a a hazy medium amber with a broken white head. The aroma is dry sour plus a whole load of things I can’t even begin to describe. The flavour is medium sour and not a lot else. It’s not a shocking beer like the draft version was, but its still a little watery, lacking flavour and somewhat disappointing.

Bottle @ WWT III, courtesey of deanso. Pours a clear golden beer with a small amount of white head on top. Well carbonated in the glass. Aroma is oaky, furthermore quite faint. Flavor is medium sour, well balanced and a bit yeasty. Quite ok actually, far better than I’d expected it to be.

Corked bottle. Golden color. Aroma has vinegar, oak, lemon, hints of red berries. Only moderately sour, to my surprise. Oak, rubber, lots of brett. Soft vinous notes. Totally dry. Well done.

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of cherries, malts, fruity, dried fruits, light green apple. Light funky flavour, sour touch, red fruits. Malty finish, cherry, redcurrants and light wood.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2013 Bottle @ ZZT VII, thx to everyone for sharing their bottles. Hazy yellow color, short to no head. Barnyard, horseblanket, green apples. Medium sour. Reading some of the tap ratings I expected the worst, but it is actually not that bad.
