1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear amber colour, no head. Aroma of vinegar, ethylacetate, glue. Sour flavour, feels like the enamel is coming off my teeth. Sour finish. Didn’t like this as a beer. It is one of the better salad dressings I’ve had recently though.
(Draught @ De Molen, during RBESG 2013 visit)

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tap @ De Molen. Clear amber colour, thin head. Nose is vinegar, vanilla, wood. Flavour is very sour, almost to a burning feeling, vanilla, wood. Not drinkable at all.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Tap @ de molen. Murky brown pour. Aroma is full of strong balsamic vinegar. Flavor is pure balsamic vinegar, heavy and extremely sour. Almost undrinkable. Would be great to have a few drops in the salad, but that’s about it. Undrinkable.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Keg at Euston Tap. It pours hazy amber with a minimal white head. The nose is big on the vinegar, rotten apples, acetone, cider, mustiness and battery acid. The taste is very acidic, excessive amounts of vinegar, light stone fruit, damp wood, sour lemon, mouth-puckering, paint thinner, mouldy and faint medinal notes with a hot, acidic finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Like drinking a bottle of vinegar! The smell makes my eyes water. Really pretty terrible. One of the worst sours I’ve had.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the Euston Tap - last beer of an epic day, the day that was the Rate Beer Black Country Bus Bash 2013 and this little fella woke me up something !!!
Clear pale golden with no head.
Nose is sour as fuck, vinegar, Sarsons overalls - the guy who cleans the inside of the vats! Tarte’o’clock - wake up ya bastard - wake up !
Taste comprises bitter vinegar, soured fruit stew, citrus, burnt fruit, light smoke, acid, acetic vinegar.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte balsamic coating in the finale.
A prety intense sour - pitched a little OTT, but it does what it says on the tin - sour sour sour!
Thankyou for waking me up and puckering my face at 22.45! 2 more pints of the Raad & Daad stout yeoman of the bar !
C’mon - man the fuck up raters !

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Draught at De Molen Brewpub. I wanted to like this beer but there is nothing slighty plesent with this beer..Only incredibe sour and sour again. Pubs in Amsterdam could not serve it because their coustumers did disliked it so much and I can understand why! This must be the black sheep in the De Molen family of beers!...

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear orange brown, small off white head. Aroma is quite nice, sour and overripe fruit with vanilla. Taste is basically great, with vanilla again. But, it?s way too acid. Still not as bad (for me) as other ratings suggest. But then, I only had a small tasting glass.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Keg at the Euston Tap - London. Boy, what a privilege to get to try this beer! Pours hazy amber-gold with a moderate, foamy white head. The beer reeks of vinegar, ripe cherries, acetone. Massively tart flavor, some sugary ripe fruits, mostly just harsh spirit vinegar and paint thinner. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lip-puckering, eye-twitching tart vinegar finish, some cherries and golden raisins. In some ways this is a real feat of brewing; but that doesn’t mean it’s pleasant.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
From tap at de Molen during RBESG ’13. Only had a sip of it, but that was enough. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is mostly just vingegar. Taste has a little bit of malts, bit mostly just a vinegar like sourness. I like sour, but this is just too much. Still have to drink the bottled version so I’m curious how different that one is.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Stagnant brown body. No head. Creamy Apple vinegar almost salad dressing nose. Smooth unassuming carbonation, before a mule kick of Haribo sweet sourness. This is quickly enveloped by a fifth gear, whipped cream Lambic laceration. In all honesty, if you can spit this out before the swallow/finish you might /get a decent wild sour. However it’s a scathing, under the kitchen sink fluid finish for me. Expecting the harshness is one thing, having your throat assaulted from all angles is another. The linger is a combination or relief and sweet sooking on a lemon wedge sharpness.
