Poured dark brown with a healthy beige head. Aroma of sweet fruit, dark chocolate, roast malt. Fairly full body, flavour of the aroma, a bit of liquorice and vanilla. A bit weak for an Impy.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Stas & Vova. Dark amber-brown color. Pretty boozy aroma with dark fruits, caramel, wood, wine, a bit of chocolate and some whiskey. Sweet flavor with dark fruits, wine, carmally, whiskey, wood, booziness and a bit of chocolate. Medium-bodied.

Bottle, share @ home. Bottled 2 July 2013. Color: Dark, not black, clear (you can actually see through it). Beige head, quickly disappearing. Aroma’s: bourbon, vanilla, treacle, molasses, wood, nice! Retronasal: toffee, fruit, treacle, molasses, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to full sweet, fruity, alcoholic. Alcohol feel is quite strong. Medium to full bodied. Finishes light roasty, light bitter. Sweet!

Bottle from Bierkompass, bought in March 2014. Hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of bourbon, some dried fruit, alcohol and licorice. Similar taste, also some vanilla, oak, chocolate and more warming alcohol. The body was full and the carbonation low. A nice beer.

Lekkere ba imp stout. Veel bourbon. Wel wat dun geworden door de barrel aging. Net iets wat de rasputin niet kan hebben

Bottle from De Molen, enjoyed at home. Pours clear dark brown, minimal head. Blue cheese, sweet vanilla and milk chocolate aroma. Very sweet bready flavour, brown malt sweetness, raisins, caramel, dates, soft brown sugar. Some creamy vanilla and bourbon on the finish. Not the best expression of Rasputin.

330 ml bottle. Bottled on 2nd Jul 2013. Courtesy of olio. Murky brown colour with tiny off-white head. Sweet... I mean sweet bready malt, some alcohol and some sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is sweet malt... maltiness. Sweetness, alcohol and some dark fruits. Why? Dunno. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy dark brown color with a small head. Very sweet malty aroma with toffee and syrup, some sugary notes and molasses too. Pungent woody notes on the flavor, sweet malts and caramel, some molasses and oak. Way too sweet and sugary. Still quite overwhelming.

Bottle... Pours hazy and brown with a fleeting white head. The aroma is a rich, malty marriage of caramel and fudge. Full-bodied and a bit watery with low carbonation. The flavor is a mélange of fudge, caramel and booze. It’s not crazy-hot or even bourbon-specific - just boozy. Mildly bitter, fudgy finish. Bottle courtesy of Plovmand!

Bue en bouteille. Une réussite totale ! Arômes de café, de grillé, de fruits rouges à l’alcool. Le tout bien équilibré, à peine acide. Finale longue et goûtue. Excellent.
