33 cl flaske, 10,4 %, på Hugo's Kælder, 25. juli 2013. Kaffearoma, men ikke kraftig. Lakridsnoter. Fuldstændig blød i munden med perfekt balanceret kulsyreindhold. Smagsindtryk af porter, engelsk lakrids og kaffe. Iøvrigt serveret til temperaturmæssig perfektion. Næsten ingen sødme, derfor velindrettet til porter-fans. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown chocolate color. Very little head when poured into a glass from a bottle. Sweet and chocolatey, almost vanilla scent. Chocolate taste, with notes of vanilla. Very sweet. Smooth finish, but a little Berthier puppy tasting at the end. Not my favorite.

Pas mal du tout. Trop simple.

Bottle from K&L in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is sweet dark fruits, chocolate and cherry liqueur. Has an herbal liqueur quality initially with some bitterness on the finish. Sticky, Sweet and Boozy. Mellows a lot as it warms and gets much better. Getting more cherry and tang as it do.

Deep brown body, small brownish head. Great aroma, lots of dried fruits (plum), chocolate, toffee, light alcoholic notes, some woody notes. Flavours are as great, dried plum, lots of malt complexity, molasse, dark chocolate, light alcoholic notes. Medium sweet and warm finish. Ends up hoppy bitter and dry with a cocoa aftertaste. Full body, low carbo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Very nice chocolate aroma, some coffee too. Judging from the nose, probably not too sweet. Unexpected taste, more umami and boozy than something refined. Unusual for sure.

Bottle. 16 months old, so still labelled as Rasputin. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Pours clear, dark brown until lots of lumps of sediment dropped in without warning. Slimmest of tan head. Lots of legs. Nose has tar. Charred wood. Vine fruits. Dried fruit. Heaps of dark chocolate behind all of that. Taste is rich, sticky sweet, then big, tangy bitter hop. Full body. Very sticky. Finishes burnt wood, tangy bitter. All over the shop. Hard work.

Per me un capolavoro

Bottle pour sampled at The Festival 2015 in St. Petes with Vinny. Pours a deep brownish black with huge head. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with notes of smoked peat, espresso, dark fruit, molasses, fig and wood. Once again, De Molen nails the peat character in an unbelievable way.

Bottle, 33cL. Bottled in 2014. @beerstore Salmanazor, Toulouse. A shining pitch black beer with a small beige head ; average retention. Roast, toast, black chocolate, coffee, herbs, fruits (prune, raisin, blackberry) ; what a firework of characters ! Medium sweet, medium dry bitter ; fresh pleasant wind ; just a bit of heat far-faraway. Full body, thin smooth texture, soft carbonation, toasty sweet finish, light dry. Overall, wow ! What an elegance ; delicious !!
