Aroma is weird with vegetables, some peppery spices and bun yeast. Flavour is tart with cirtrus and yeast. Refreshing, but still one weird weizen.

Very carbonated beer. Huge foam that busts your balls. Haze color with no smell at all. First is tasteless as well but soon it gets better. An average beer that I do not recommend.

Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra Rune. Drukket hjemme 10 Okt 11. Veldig hissig men jeg berget meg så vidt. Aprikosfarget. Kjempehøyt skum - både i glasset og i flaska. Her var det ei utfordring å holde skumtoppen i sjakk til ting var stabilisert i løpet av noen minutter. Uklart. Tørr sitrusaroma. Veldig mye kullsyre. Smaken blir helt overdøvd. Litt syrlig frukt anes innimellom boblene. Veldig tørr. Ikke vellykket øl.

This came out of the bottle as foam, gushed, when it finally settled in the glass it was hazy golden with a large white head - aroma is of some spicy yeast - tastes of malt and olso the same spicy yeast, no sweetness at all and a dry finish - as it warms up gets more yeast that covers all else but some unpleasent sourness of unripe fruit - not good

Not the best molen beer. Sour but that gets better after it gets warmer. Really stick to the 10 degrees they mention on the label. Some citrus, slight spice.

Draft @ DeMolen on November 17th visit.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Hazy yellow pour with a thin white head. Wheat and banana in the nose. A little sourness in the flavour, with notes of yeast, wheat and fruit. Dryish finish Fine, if a little drab. Not the best offering from one of the best breweries out there.

Hazy hay-colour. Off white big frothy head. Aromas of bread, hay, wheat and citrus and yeast. Lightly sweet, and some sourness and suprisingly mediumn and long bitterness in the end. Medium body, a bit oily, soft carbo. Overall a decent beer, but not very similiar to the classic german hefeweizen. It felt somewhat belgian, belgian yeast?

Underwhelming for such a great brewery. The coriander and ginger are subtle as is much of the taste in this beer. At five percent, a session beer that I wouldn’t mind having multiples of, if it weren’t so expensive.

Taste is lightly sweet and finish mildly bitter, with hints of sweetness. Aroma is earthy yeastiness. Unclear orange colour, white head. (Bottle that was a gusher)
