Dark blond coloured beer with smal white head and no carbonation visible. Herby aroma. Medium palate a little sparkling. Finish is herby slightly bitter.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Hazy greenish yellow colour, white head. Aroma of wheat, some bready malts, plastic, lemon, cardboard. Flavour is likewise, light spicy, lemon and cardboard in the finish, plastic. Light bodied. Not very good imo.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the wheat with some orange and citrus notes mixed in. I don’t get the banana and clove that I expect with a hefeweizen. The flavor is similar to the aroma. I get some yeat, wheat and some lightly tart apples, but not classic hefeweizen notes. That being said, the beer is quite tasty, even if it is not to style. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. Amber with a solid head. Very much coriander aroma. In the mouth quite bitter, very spicy with ginger in the lead. Less fruit than expected. Too heavy on the spice box.

Bottle (75cl) from Vinmonopolet (Vika), Oslo. Hazy, milky orange colour. Nice, fluffy white head with decent retention. Foam kept coming out of the bottle for minutes after pouring first glass. Aroma of funky citrus, yeast, esters (orange, banana). Body is light, carbonation is soft/flat. Taste is mildly bitter and acidic. Refreshing, but unremarkable brew.

Hazy Hefeweizen looks, dusty and nice white head. No banana which I expected, instead I get yeast, sweet bread, some spices. Taste is full with a dry mouth feel, especially at the very end. An easy drink, but honestly a bit disappointing. Not sure why because it’s brewed well. (33cl bottle at De Molen)

Very much an average beer. Hazy golden, orange color. Wheat malts and a little yeast in the smell. Decent taste and low to medium carbo and body.

0.75l bottle. This one pours a fizzing clear golden body with a bif big-bubbly fluffy white head. From the second you pop the cork you really sense that Belgium-yeasty aroma. Also some good candy-sugar notes and grassy hops along with light wood, citrus, banana and some spices. Really aggressive carbonation, has a oily mouthfeeling and medium-bodied. Tastes mildly yeasty with notes of peppery spices, dried orange zest and perhaps some wheat. Ends really alcohol-yeasty and quite watery. Not your typical gefeweizen.
