75cl bottle, sampled spring 2012. rating from back catalogue. - Caution: Almost half of the bottle gushed right out, very lively foam and light-bodied. Quite unassuming and summertime weizen tending towards a wit, full of fresh citrus notes, virtually no banana, dry. Modest but refreshing. Minus notes for the gushed waste, considering De Molen’s prices.

Bottled in large bottles, because most of it will end up in the sink or on the floor. Unpleasantly sour for a weizen, and the yeast seems to give it a wrong palate altogether. Well worth a miss.

Tap at the Cask, Pimlico, 18/01/13, split with Chris, Jan and Charlotte. Hazed light golden yellow with a thin white head. Nose is sour fruits, light piss, touch of the vinegars, plastic, glue. Taste is yeasty, lemon, lactose, citrus, some sugars. Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation, sour bitter tones in the finish, Is this really a heffeweise? More akin to a Berliner Weisse!

Bottle from the shop in Bodegraven. This one was a gusher, sprayed all over the table. Fruity smell and taste with yeast, spices and citrus. High level of carbonation. I suspect this one might be a bit old.

Imbir i kolędra jednak wyczuwalna

Flaske fått av esp0r. Har lest av andre at denne egentlig er en gusher, men denne flasken var fullstendig død. Lite skum også. Smaker malt, gress,høy,gjær. For mye sitrus etter min smak

one of the mùost extreme gushers ever ! glass FULL of foam, bottle half empty ( partly spilled, partly in the glass) and still the foam is comming out at the top. this withoud shaking or stuff like that... pours warm, hazy orange. not much smell. i have this element wich i recognize from german beers, but this one’s less bad realy carbonated still ( wow after gushing even?) definetly most carbonated i’ve had so far from de molen ( and maybe from all beers) tastes dry, little bit smoked character to me . not my kind of thing...

Bottle. Very lively foam, milky orange yellow. Citric, peachy, light clayish funk. Relatively light body. Mango, citrus, nice hoppy finish, apricot retronasal. Fresh.

(750ml bottle) Courtesy of Jonas. Flowing with foam, huge head and cloudy yellow body. Tart and yeasty nose. Creamy, tart yeasty. Very good. --- reviewed on RateBeer.com

Bottle. Clear orange body, big white head. Lively beer that obviously felt prisoned and wanted out of the bottle. Aroma of apricot, coriander, yeast and malt. Taste of yeast, herbs and wheat. Bitter with grassy finish.
