33cl bottle at home. Very dark brown with a small tan head. Medium body with low to moderate carbonation. Nice bitter spicy smokiness with some ripe fruity tones in the background. Smoke, roasted malts, spices, hot peppers, dark chocolate and bacon. The hot peppers and smoke mix very well.

Glossy black pour, big thanks to Matt! Big, thick aroma of dark chocolate and molasses, with a wonderful cold smoke mixed in. Something like a dark chocolate candy flavored with a scotch. Nice big mouthfeel follows, with the same smoky, meaty, chocolaty notes. This is really tasty stuff... going to go wonderfully with the marinated tri-tips we just took off the grill. =)

Bottle, bought in Belgrade consumed in Seattle. Pretty dark black brown, medium tan foam. Good fruity smoke aroma. Juicy stout body, metallic cider. Earthy grain. Restrained smoke house, medium body. Nice.

Aroma: smoked, roasted pig belly, earth, some rotten notes. Taste: moderate sweetness, light to moderate bitterness, spicy chili. Flavour: smoked pork, chocolate with chili, weak sweet robusta, many complex Mailard products. Very prominent spicy aftertaste. I didn’t really like this big spicy notes. I like chili and I like beer with chili but I am not sure about chili in the beer.

8.2% ABV. Smoked stout. Poured out of the bottle back viscid sin measuring 40°SRM. Black. Nose is medicinal, tarry with stone dust aromas. Wet plaster also comes to mind. There are burnt oak aromas after the shock of the initial smoke. This is not the pleasant smoke you get from peat that is associated even with the most dyed in the wool Islay scotches. This smells more like fire damage. Pronounced carbonation, which is a good thing otherwise this would just be unpalatable. Medicinal. With a lingering palate of charcoal dust. Glad I tried it. Will be unlikely to revisit.

Is bijna niet te drinken. De rooksmaak is TE overheersend. Hij ruikt al heel grauw en vanaf de eerste slok is het vechten. Met kleine nipjes gaat het maar het lijkt net verbrand rubber wat je drinkt.
