0.33l bottle. Dark brown color with tanned head. Aroma is heavy smoked, with ham notes. Taste is also heavy smoked, meaty and full of character. Overall it’s awesome beer, one of the best I’ve tried.

Nice, well balanced and quite expressive beer, tho I should repeat this under more clear mind, because this time I had plenty of smoked brews, IMP stouts included. Roasted malts, with nice smoke touch, light chili, bit dark choco, kinda dried fruits, ashtray. MOderate sweet with moderate to light bitterness, light tartness. Interesting and balanced beer, but it kinda lacks "the kick"

330ml bottle pours black in color with a vigorously poured finger of light brown head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains and smoke with some hints of chocolate. Taste is smoky with a chocolate malty sweetness and a roasted grain bitterness finishing with some heat from the chili peppers. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this is a nice brew that suits the style well and I recommend to others.

THis is the version from 2013!! An authentic Smoked lmperial Stout. With a little bit of chili, which suits the smoked aftertaste. Perfect, just perfect.

11.2 oz bottle poured into a snifter. Bottled on May 30, 2012, best within 4 years so still within the window. Picked up two months ago at State Line Liquors. Slow gusher. Black with an excessive amount of light tan head like you would find on an over-carbonated or infected beer. Aromas of big smoke, toasted mesquite wood, metallic notes, a little dark fruit and caramel on the back. Tastes of smoke, toasted wood, some caramel and toffee, malt, some slight dark fruit and a hint of chocolate on the back. Mostly overpowering smoke though. Chili peppers seem to have faded away. Medium-light body with a dry and warm finish. Normally enjoy smoked beers but this was too much.
