Ungstrup (14723), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 9, 2009 Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with an orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of sweet malt and fruit as well as a light acidic and brett’y edge. The flavor is very sweet and very malty with quite a lot of fruit and some bread. The alcohol burns lightly in the cheeks. Thanks fonefan for sharing. Pinball (2678), Allerød, Denmark Jul 29, 2009 appears cloudy hazy brown, small white head.

Has a fruity malty bready and slightly hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty bready caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste. Theis (3617), Denmark Apr 17, 2009 Bottle at Jannik’s Easter Party. High murkey amber - offwhite head. Wheaty, milkey, yeasty, kærnemælk, fruity, orange, lemon, spicy, caramel, dried fruity, light hoppy. Strange - Wierd - Bad. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 20, 2009 Bottle. High creamy and long lasting, good looking off-white head, leaving nice lacings. Thickly looking hazy milky orange body. Lovely barley malt aroma with nutty and earthy notes. Dusty oranges lemon caramel flavors as well as a bit of ginger. Low carbonation, fair amount of hops bitterness, and a long aftertaste. Very well balanced and alcohol nicely hidden by all the flavors. JorisPPattyn (5152), Antwerpen, Belgium Mar 14, 2009 Faint bubbles, imitating B.C."H." with very good resemblance; hazed red-amber beer. Sharpish sourish nose, and aromas as from ginger, lavender, pine and cookies. Very imposing spicy flavours - it’s nearly unbelievable this beer isn’t spiced. Woody character, biscuit and faraway restsweetness, warming up becoming more chocolatey. No carbonation - second time. Rather well-bodied, obvious alcoholburn. Again one that seems a bit off. As the beer presented at pre-ZBF had none of this lack, I’m starting to wonder about the condition of the bottles for sale. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 7, 2009 Bottle in a train in Belgium.
