The head is ok, the body brown and cloudy. It smells sweet, hoppy intensive, less rye, aromatic. The taste is a bit rye, more hoppy, aromatic, malty, earthy, bit chocolate-sweet, less fruity. Delicious 12/12/12/12/11/12

Bottle - January 2013. Pours cloudy amber with a small beige creamy head that dissipates with some lacing. Aroma is bready, caramel, citrus. Flavor about the same, a bit of pine, orange, caramel, spicy rye. A well aged IPA, and it shows it. Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body, somewhat creamy but a flat mouthfeel. Meh.

Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Hazy golden beer with a nicepffwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, biscuits, caramel, floral, grapes, some herbal notes. Hoppy citrus flavor, pine needles, hay, biscuits, floral notes, almost a bit woody. Fruity hop finish with pine needles and citrus notes.

Cask at GBBF 2012 - London. Pours lightly hazy orange with a fine, filmy white head. Rich caramel and pine on the nose. Medium to big sweet flavor with more pine, some poo and pee, ripe melon, hints of toffee. Lightly warming to finish with toasty caramel, bread, pee and melon. Nice.

Bottled. Cloudy copper color, short head. Aroma is quite malty, more biscuity than rye bread. Some grassy and earthy hop notes as well, not really pronounced though. Medium bitter in taste. Great balance. I like these Rye IPA series.

Bottle, split by the bar tend, at Beermongers, PDX 26/05/13. One of those rare sub ’3’ appearance ratings! Murky ’as’ amber brown - shades of Kidsgrove canal - with a thin off white head which dissipates edgeward. She ain’t no looker! Nose is bitter orange, grain, rye, light smoke, hops. Tate comprises grapefruit, bitter orange, mineral notes, pine, light smoke. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bite in the finish. Ok IPA.

kraddel (3466) - some beerplace, BELGIUM - JUN 5, 2013
pours amber, clear, small white foam . smell has some hops, but not much at all . soft carbo, soft drinkability,...very gentle beer. taste ... well i dont know if i had ( knowingly) chinook before, but this reminds me of a citra-like beer.. its got that sharpness in the taste. better than the other rye ipa i had by de molen ( in hoppy-taste) but still , this needs way more taste.

Svesse (6174) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 1, 2013
(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, 27 May 2013) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with rye, crisp-bread, orange peel and toast. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of rye, crisp-bread, dried orange peel, grapefruit and a generous resinous bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. The rye character is quite spicy and a bit harsh. Tasty and nice beer.

Douberd (2339) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - APR 23, 2013
Brown long-neck bottle, poured into a tulip glass at home. ABV 6.6%. Bottled on 23 Jan. 2013. Pours a very muddy and murky orange colour beer, with one finger od off-white head, low retention and light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits and florar hops. A bit of smokiness too, is this coming from the chinook? Taste is mildly bitter at first, becomes much more intense bitter on the aftertaste. Lots of florar notes. Medium on the body, light to medium carbonation. Nice dryness on the palate. Good IPA, but not as good as others I had from De Molen.

330ml bottle at 6.6%. Pours a hazy dark orange with a medium head. Aroma is herbal, spicy, melon and mango. Taste has spicy pineapple to start. Spicy bready finish. Touches of banana.
