Bottle (75cl, #27): Deep golden to light amber coloured, hazy, big fluffy stable off-white head; piney-hoppy and fruity nose with a caramelly background, spiced with a light tinge of cinnamon; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; solid lingering finish with a caramelly counterweight. The right stuff.......

(swing top bottle, 75cl) Cloudy, light-amber colour with a big and slightly off-white frothy head. Yeasty and slightly sweet (cara-)malty aroma with an aromatic hops character with notes of citrus, pine apple and piney accents, accompanied by spicy notes of cinamon. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Soft (cara-)malty base with fruity and piney hoppy accents, leading into a dry and lasting hop bitter finish. Pretty good. 12.V.10

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours murky amber with a big, frothy and light bubbly off-white head. Fair duration. But like many De Molen beers, it does not a little unrefined. Aroma is yeasty (as the looks might tell), grassy hoppiness, some sweet malts. Medium, yet rather prickly carbonation, fair light and dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet at first, the hops presence is grassy and light flowery. Mild bitterness. A tad yeasty in flavour as well. Good, but lots of hops don’t hide all the apparent yeastiness of it. Otherwise good class, especially the lingering bitterness.
