Bottle 750ml. @ home.
Clear medium to dark brown color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, spicy, cinnamon, cardamom, soap, moderate caramel, ginger notes, a bit like a pumpkun beer. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy burnt brown sugar & spicy bitter with a long long duration, spicy spicy. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - sticky, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. Not my kind of beer ! [20091128]

From bottle, blind #28. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge tan head. Spiced, acidic and slight herbal aroma. Grassy, ginger and sweet caramel malt flavoured. Light acidic and dry. Distinct roasted note into the finish. Lasting acidic and roasted, semi sweet, malt finish.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of spices, malt, and caramel, as well as a light note of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and spices, especially lavender. The alcohol leaves a light burn in the mouth. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

omhper (18949) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2009
Bottled at PBF. Lightly hazy ruby, no head. Ginger aroma. Sweet with lots of syrup and ginger. Viscous with some caramel, but most of all sickly sweet and gingery. Aptly named.

Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy amber color; big head. Strange aroma, soapy, with herbs (heather, bog myrthle - porse-); too much to take. The flavor has a good sweetness, with some caramel, and the impact of the soapy herbs is limited, but the body is well structured.

Dedollewaitor (13390) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2009
75cl bottle @ HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours a muddy brown with a small creamy head and lacings. Sweet malty. Nuts and caramel and a quite extreme amount of spices and herbs. Cardamom, cookie dough and clove. Full, sticky and slick palate. A bit of alcohol in the end. Though one dimensional in a way it is quite tasty!
