Bottled from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Hazy orange/golden colored, thick lasting head, beautiful. Very nice hoppy nose, fruity (orange), flowery. Hopbitter flavor, quite dry, thin mouthfeel. I love Cascade hops, and the aroma is just great, but as a whole this beer feels too light bodied to be really convincing.

Blurred orange color. Smell’s like you with your nose in the pollen. Taste explosion of the hop that the mouth does contract. At the second sip the habituation is there.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a murky amber beer with a tall bubbly tanned head. The aroma is mainly of spicy yeast, resinous hops, cat’s piss, spring onions, fresh cut grass and peach. Soapy. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Yeast accented. Poor lacework. Short dry grassy finish.

Dec 2012 - coldish bottle. Initial soapy pine taste, on to a floral flavour with mild bitterness. Although I would normally dislike these flavours, they are OK in this beer. Drinkable IPA, it’s like a better version of the ABC by the Kernel. I’ve nothing against it, but it doesn’t have the flavours that I go for in a beer.

33cl bottle picked up at the De Molen bottle shop pours with a clear gold body and copper hues supporting an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up everything I like about Cascade hops in lemon and grapefruit and dank earthiness and faint onion, yes! Behind the hops is the faintest sweet malt sensation. The taste is a pleasing mix of mildly malt sweetened grapefruit and tangelo and quickly moving into bitter citrus notes, mild earthiness and a nice yet faint dank hoppiness coming to the surface near the finish.

Bottle at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, brewed aug 7 2012
Hazy golden color, generous creamy head. Very nice hop aroma, Saaz-like. It’s extremely dry, with almost a Orval-like character, a bit funky, hint of bitter oranges, and very strong ending bitterness.
Bold, harsh, but very good.
