I have had this brew several times and it just simply rocks. Citra has become one of my favorite hops. Slightly hazy golden pour, medium white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and citrussy Citra hop. Nice fruity bitterness in taste. Quite clean, not affected by a lot of caramel malts, which I like in American IPAs, but which I dont miss at all in this beer. Crisp. I would buy a crate of this stuff every time they brew it.

Aroma is like the best american IPA. Flavour is citrus and quite refreshing but the carbonation is little bit too high. Really good beer if you want to know how the citra hops works, quite usefull. Also good like a summer beer.

Bottle from bar Animal. This beer is a solid IPA. Quite refreshing with a modest 4.8% alcohol. Aromas of lemon and grapefruit. Tastes fresh with a sweeter finish.

I don’t like every "De Molen" beer, but this one goes down quite nicely. It’s very refreshing. It’s quite bitter, but the fruity undertone mellows it out. Also this one isn’t as killing as most of the other "The Molen" beers regarding ABV, making it a nice refreshing summer beer.

Bottle from Brewdog. Pours hazy golden with a huge frothy white head. Aroma of citra hops, fresh yeast and grapefruit. Taste is fresh citrus, crisp and clean, good body for a 4,8%, showcasing citra, this is a tasty and easy drinkable beer, again from De Molen.

Flaske på hytta, innkjøpt på Kioskh: Højt skum!! Herlig duft av citrahumlen, hva kan vel være mer saliggjørende for de olfaktoriske nerver? Deilig og frisk humlet smak i klasse med f.eks Lucky Jack, men mer karbonert slik at skummet varer lengre og munnfylden oppleves som større. De 57 ibu lurer diskret i bakgrunnen. Et koseøl både for solskinnsdager og vinterlige innedager.

Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, moderate grass - dry grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus - grapefruit, dusty hops, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO. a nice balanced IPA and easy to drink. [20130116]

Deep golden color with a huge, frothy off white head. Big citrus and tropical fruit nose. Very lively on the tongue. Flavors of mandarin orange, grapefruit rind, homemade bread with a long hoppy finish. Distractingly fizzy on the tongue.

£4 for 330ml bottle from Brewdog:
Citrus aroma to begin as expected and backed up with some subdued tropical fruits that consist mainly of mango and pineapple along light grapefruit and pine.
Slightly cloudy, orange to amber colour with a big looking head that is part foamy, part bubbly. There is some lacing left on the sides after a minute.
Citrus then some grapefruit and pine, both of which are a lot stronger here than in the nose. There is a lot of hoppy bitterness as well and the mango from the nose is in there too. Quite a nice tasting beer and easy to drink.
Medium bodied with a crisp refreshing feel, a nice citrus tang and some lively carbonation. The bitterness is definitely noticeable but it’s not overdone.

A solid IPA and definitely well worth trying, not as strong or as bitter as some of the American style craft beers but a very welcome change. The beer was well-balanced and very easy to drink.
