UPDATED: APR 5, 2013 Nov 2012 - cold bottle. This is one of the best American-style IPAs I’ve had so far - probably the best. Mild, citrusy, a bit bitter and quite malty. Liking this one a lot. ***************************************** April 2013 - new batch bottled in Nov 2012. Lots of bubbles, 2cm head with good retention. Taste of caramel malts with typical citra flavours. Really nice balance with only a mild level of bitterness. It’s still my favourite IPA to date.

33cl bottle (bottled on Nov. 27th, 2012) picked up at the De Molen bottle shop pours with a clear light copper body and gold hues supporting a tall light tan head of foam that leaves behind sheet lacing. The aroma offers up orange peel, tart grapefruit and lime peel. The taste is similarly citrusy tartness with various tart peel notes mixed with slightly malt sweetened grapefruit and clementine. This is fully tart and bitter citrus with wafer thin layers of malty sweetness that surface about midway and into the finish to provide some balance. Nice IPA.

Draft @ brewpub. Cloudy blonde beer, white head. Faint aroma of citra, hops. Could have been better. Flavor is light citrus and very low body and carbo. Decent, but I’ve hoped for more.

Alla spina (on tap) al Red Bear pub a Marghera (Ve). Bella schiuma chiara, alta e persistente, aderente, colore ambrato opalescente, aroma floreale luppolato, note di agrumi e di pino, corpo da medio a pieno, leggera carbonazione, note di frutta tropicale, pino, rinfrescante e beverina , dolcezza iniziale controbilanciata da un amaro luppolato , finale pulito. Beverina , buona Ipa.

Color: clear orange blond beer with medium carbonization and medium white heavy head. It looks really good! Smell: big noise of hops, citrus, litchi, mango! Really explosive! Taste: smart, fruity, hops and citrus as orange, pineapple, lemon. Aftertaste: peaches, hops, wet bitterness!

Dorado pálido, espuma blanca abundante resistente. Aroma principal pino. Sabor moderado a pino y crítico. Amargor medio. Muy buena para sesiones largas.

2 finger creamy thick head, slightly cloudy burnt orange Smell is pretty earthy. It’s either lightly hopped or old. No cheese though Taste is sort of a muted bitterness. Se grapefruit and passion fruit but its dominated by malts. Bitterness is more of an annoyance than a pleasure

330ml bottle from BrewDog. Amber brown colour, big foamy head. Sour pine hop aroma. Resin fruit hop flavour. Flowery hop aftertaste. Decent IPA.

Cerveza rubia con espuma blanca. Olor muy floral, me recuerda algo a la sidra asturiana. Sabor cítrico y muy, muy amargo, con cuerpo medio y algo graso. Calidad, calidad.

Tap @ Drie Dorstige Herten. Clear orange colour, medium dense off-white head. Nose is citric, light malty and grainy. Flavour is light malted, citric, bit of pine. Slightly bitter finish. A bit watery.
