Poured slightly hazy, with a copper color and a lively, massive off-white head. Fantastic aroma of resin, orange peel, grapefruit, yeast, honey, cinnamon, and hints of cheese. First sip brings melon, apples and grapes to the table. The malty, slightly caramelish sweetness is well balanced with a medium bitter taste. Neither the sweetness nor the bitterness is overpowering. Medium dense with lots of carbonation, and a shy aftertaste that does not really last, perhaps a bit of dry bitterness in the end. Generally a nice showcase of Citra, easy to drink and a great brew overall.

This one has lots of citra, that means a taste of sharp fruitiness and harsh bitterness. Very refreshing.

Bottle from Bierkoning, thanks! Nice aroma of lychee, grapefruit and some resin. No malt detected. It lacks in the flavour department however, the aroma intensivity diminishes and overall this beer feels quite empty. Very dry with a strong bitterness though not really sessionable in my case.

Funky little beer from the Netherlands. It's like a cross of a wheat beer with an IPA. The look is cloudy orange with foamy head. Smells of orange, citrus, pine. The taste is like a wheat beer, makes sense, it is the Netherlands. Has some hops and citrus in the middle. Finishes is a little watery mild orange. A nice light beer. A wheat type beer with a little more going on for flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12,12,12,13,12,12 - 12,15

Tap @ Arendsnest, Amsterdam as De Molen Citra Pale Ale. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is a lot of grapefruit and passionfruit, very hoppy. Taste is hoppy too, even parfumey with the strength of it. Grapefruit, citrus, turns quite watery on the finish. Light, watery, decent carbonation.

0,33 L bottle. Nice fluffy foam. Fresh hop and mild fruity aroma. Taste is modest. Gentle caramel, hops, little sour yeast. Refreshing sour end.

Clear amber body with a huge white head. Hoppy aroma with blood orange, grapefruit, lime and mandarin. Dry bitter flavour with orange, mandarin, lime. Not particularly special, but delicious nonetheless.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 18.03.2013
Aroma has hops, orange, caramel and odd, solvent-like note. Flavour has vegetables, cucumber, some hops, caramel, gooseberry bush and a vichy‐like feeling. Bitter finish with bush leaves. Too much vegetables here.
