330ml bottle. Almost clear, bronze-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hop aroma, minimally grassy, a touch of vinegar. Taste is initially dry, citrusy hoppy, later turning into moderately sourish - infected? expired? Not formal: BBE 11/04/2014.

Yup just another IPA-ish beer going into sour mode with the usual overcarbonation. I seem to have ended my lucky streak with DM unless they have totally changed their brewing model. The last beers I have had of theirs were just plain hard to drink and enjoy, which I wasn’t used to before. This is another example that barely escapes drowning because of the Simcoe. Bottled 11/04/2013.

Hazy amber beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Very tangy and tending toward sour. Orangey hops, touch of pith. Light minerally finish. Like the Galena this appears to be carrying an infection but here it doesn’t completely destroy the beer.

Bottle. Poured hazy orange, with an off-white head. Honey, resin, melon, apple and cinnamon in the nose. First sip brings tons of fruitiness, with a pleasant bitter tone. Medium dense with lots of carbonation. Fairly sweet finish, with more fruits in the aftertaste. Nice showcase of simcoe.
