3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sebletitje (5415) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAY 5, 2013
Bouteille 33cl, bottled 28/8/2012.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Slayer85 (979) - Firenze, ITALY - APR 20, 2013
Red waxed bottle(11,9% ABV). An almost opaque black beer, with a minimal, fully diminishing brown head. The aroma is moderately to heavily malty (roasted grain, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel), with notes of vanilla, whiskey/bourbon, alcohol, raisin, fig, brown sugar, some peat and smoke. The flavor is heavilty sweet, lightly acidic, very lightly bitter. Full body, syrupy texture, soft/flat carbonation, very long finish with light bitterness, heavily alcoholic. It’s very good on the presentation (which I know it’s not a little), but then it turns out to be flat, sticky, boozy, and overwhelmingly sweet. Lots of complexity in a very enjoyable aroma, though. So, the score results to be something in the middle.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sic1314 (959) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - APR 14, 2013
Listed at 11.9% on the bottle. Poured a deep reddish brown with no head. Aroma is of vinous notes and muted sweet roast malt. Medium body, flavour of sweet red wine with a malty undertone and a lingering, sweet alcoholic end. A bit closer to a barley wine than an impy.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 makromaniak (86) - Tilburg, NETHERLANDS - APR 11, 2013
Okay...yet another good IRS from the Molen but this one is too much whiskey for me...brutal and rough
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Hermod (2194) - Vantaa, FINLAND - APR 5, 2013
33cl bottle. Bottled aug.2012. 11.9% says label. Poured black with no head. Aroma has licorice, roasted malt, port wine notes, wood and alcohol. Flavor is similar, lots of wood, peat, ash coming through as it gets warmer. Incredibly light body at first with vanilla smoothness, but as you swallow the alcohol presence is quite noticeable. Heavy stuff, tough.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Cuso (2646) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAR 27, 2013
