Une très bonne biere qui n'a d'IPA que le nom, peu amère, et légèrement houblonnée. Quand même très agréable!

Bottle, stored for five years in MiP’s cellar. Pours hazy amber with stable off-white head. Fantastic dusty aroma with notes of orange and hops and touches of malt and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish notes of orange, malt and yeast, citric touches and delicious dusty hints. Rough and bitter aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Storm, damage and all other catastrophes, come and take me alive if you are so enchanting!

bottle from zly casy in prague. murky golden with a fluffy white head; plenty of grapefruit in the aroma, lightly woody, almost suggesting licorice root; ome honeyed rye sweetness, good whack of citric bitterness

Kauge (846) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 2, 2014
Bottle from Stockmann in Tallinn (€ 3,39). Bottled Feb 6 2013. Pours dark orange with an off-white head with good retention and lacing. Nose is strong maltiness reminiscent of barley wines, slighlty caramelised sugar, some alcohol, peachy ripe fruitiness and herbal-earthy-spicy bitterness. Taste is very sweet first: caramelly malts and earthy ripe fruits, then resinous and grapefruity bitter, with an earthy-herbal bitter finish. Body medium to heavy, with modest carbonation, sticky palate and slightly grainy mouthfeel. Very little bitterness for a DIPA - but then again the label says it’s only "Double IPA-ish"... which sounds like an exaggeration in this case. I wonder what it tastes like when fresh... I still like it though, even if what I get is probably not what it’s supposed to be... But then again, reading about Premiant hops indicate this is pretty much what it’s about. Go figure.

0,33l fles bij de fust vandaan. Amberkleurig met een lichte fijne schuimkraag. Geur is gras en gist met een zoetje. Smaak is brood met citrus, mooi bitter in de afdronk. Lekker

Bottle from Terre de Boissons calais drunk at home. Dont know how fresh this is or how long this has been on the shelf. Hops are still there and good finishing grapefruit bitterness. Bit of toffee malt on the flavour. Opens up a bit and the sherbert grapefruit comes through. Decent beer shines through even if not in perfect condition. Ok.
