Stout with lots of the delicious Amarillo hops. Creates a combi of the roast of a stout and the bitter fruits of the Amarlillo. Nice.

On tap at Haand Festival 2013. Black color, good offwhite foam. Immediate fruity and hoppy aromas - afterwards roasted & malt aromas. Medium body & complexity. Some sourness- good balance. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Finally adding some backlog. Bottle at tasting. Aroma is roasty malt, some fruity hoppy notes, but mostly roast. Flavour is quite bitter of roasted malts, nice bitter fruity hop note. Don’t know if I taste that much difference with the regular.

Draught@Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Deep brown, close to black colour with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, chocolate and some slight coffeeish notes along with mild fruity and sprucelike notes. Flavour is chocolate, liquorice, some quite bitter fruity and floral notes as well. Kind of Black IPA like, but without the big IPA hoppyness.

Bottle at home. Black pour, huge foamy tan head. Aroma is roasty and spicy with ash, earthy and funky notes. Flavor is bitter roasted, a bit fruity and spicy. A bit off balance, but well drinkable.

from Erzbierschof.ch - cloudy and very dark brown, almost black beer with a long lasting beige foam; nice lace; roasted aroma of hazelnut and coffee; notes of cream and grapefruit behind; highly carbonated and a solid malt backbone; light initial sweetness, a hint of acidity and a fair slightly astringent bitterness; long fruity hoppy finish with lingering notes of mocha and nuts

Nice hoppy imp. stout. Colour is black, has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is heavy hoppy, clear amarillo. Flavor starts sweet, then it becomes heavy bitter and dry. Hoppy finish. Dry texture.

330 ml bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori, Tampere. Bottled on 24.5.2011.
Pours a black colour with a large, foamy and chunky head. Aroma of floral hops, roasted malts and pine needles.Flavour of strong floral hops, roasted malts, pine needles, licorice and some light fruitiness. Medium bodied, very bitter mouthfeel and a bitter finish as well. Annoyingly high carbonation. Hops run over everything here and this should be a Black IPA.

Draught. Dark bronw coloured. Fluffy brown head. Roast, caramel, flowers and herbs in the aroma. Some vague fruity notes. Flavour of herbs, roast, chocolate, coffee and some liqourice. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a heavy roast and herbal bitterness. Nice.
