4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark/black with very large head. The aroma of caramel and roasted coffee beans and chocolate is very sweet, the taste is a good mix between hops and the chocolate and coffee taste of a stout. Great beer but an explosive bottle.

75 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 17.09.2010
Aroma is hoppy with nettles, some cocoa and roasted malt. Flavour has hops, nettles, some ash, coffee and some cocoa. Good, but Stout and hops just arenít a perfect match.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle 488 of 720 ( 33 cl ) at kulminator ( antwerp )
looks very nice, black , foams pretty much .
tates like an IPA but with a little stout in it. i do like stout, but here it did more bad than good. its like mixing coca cola with water, both appart are ok, together? not so much. the stout took away the freshness of the IPA, the IPA took away the heavy hitting tastepunch you have in a good stout... cool to have had the chance to drink something this limited, but thats about it..

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
75 bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with some sediment and a large mocha head that fades leving some lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, hops, and something tart I canít really put my finger on. Taste is hoppy with some roasted malt as well.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap with Scott at Farmers Cabinet. Pours a dark black, with off white medium head. Aromas of bitter cascade hops, roasted grain, dark cocoa, fruity motueka. Taste is cocoa nibs, columbus pine, spice, sticky caramel, wood. A nice change of pace for a stout. Tons of hop resins present.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Armsby abbey stoutfest. I hated this beer. It reminded me of "OFF" bug spray. The hops were a bad chemically mixture and the stout aspect of the beer was only present in the wierd murky brown coloring. Fail from a usually great brewer.
