3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft at de Molen. I think i had this brew, although it was listed under an other (double) name, but i’ll check to be sure. Cloudy orange-brown coloured. Banana dominates the aroma, some yeast. Smooth weizen-flavour, but with a solid hopbitter finish, surprising for a weizen. Unusual, but pleasant.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Aroma is a fruity sourness, dark malts, hints of banana and strawberry. Clear, brown color, yellowish irregular head, good lace though. Light sweet, sourish, pretty bitter and fruity (forrest fruits). Not smooth like German Weizenbocks and even a bit dry. The beer is quite ok but not at all conform the style.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange brown color, cloudy. Mandarin curacao and mint in the aroma. Pear, mint, roasted malty, coffee and caramel in the flavor. Just a hint of tartness. Medium bodied. Hoppy, earthy aftertaste with mint and some mandarin fruit. Nice one!
