Bottle at Brewberry, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lavender, not so much in the hops department. Flavour brings out fresh lavender atop a light body. Again, not really any hops detectable here. This is a lavender bomb. Not too intrusive, but it is rather one-dimensional. Decent.

Bottle (330 ml) @ Brewberry (Paris). Slightly hazy deep golden with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is mainly of lavender along some spices (cinnamon), malt. Taste is very similar to the aroma... also dominated by lavender along a nice malt backbone and some spices. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Lavender (kind of soapy, but not in a bad way) finish. Balance isn’t bad despite the lavender presence. Quite drinkable. Interesting!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy deep gold with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has lots of lavender with underlying grass and sweet grains. Flavor starts with light grapefruit which lasts throughout and is joined by a good amount of lavender with a touch of cinnamon.

(33 cl bottle from BrewBerry; Bottled on October 8th 2013) Pours a semiclear amber with ample, white head. Decent retention and lace. Aroma is soapy lavender. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body and a sweet, perfumey finish. Flavour has notes of citrus and a lot of lavender. I guess I’m not a huge fan of adjuncts in beer.

Small sample @ De Molen: Draught: Served in a taster: Medium sized white foamy head on top of a cloudy yellow colored beer. Aroma reveals the spice character and once you know it’s lavender, you know it’s lavender. Some hops, citrus, some flowers and a light malty backbone. Crisp and pretty special aroma. The flavour is quite the same. A nice spice, yes lavender, flavour but also some hops, some citrus and apricot, nice bitterness, bit floral, some malts and a touch of herbs. Aftertaste is nice bitter, light lavender, light hoppy and some light fruity/flower tones. Low carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, medium to lightly fuller bodied and a creamy texture. Interesting beer! Very tastefull and pretty balanced with a good crispyness. Too small of a sample to make a good rating out of it... Nevertheles tasty beer!

This is a beer especially brewed for the Brewberry bar in Paris, Taste is very hoppy, colour is pale, and some lavender taste which reminds me of soap, but not in a bad way

Draft @ De Molen. Aroma has lavender, malt, cinnamon, fruity hops. Flavour starts of with cinnamon and lavender, then the hops take over, but the lavender leaves a raw herbal note to it. Medium bodied fruity/floral ipa with faint malt. Interesting but not my thing.

Draft at De Molen. Pours hazy orange golden with a moderate tan head. Aroma is dominated by lavender, it’s like having a beer in your gran’s bathroom. A big citrus character also coming out. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, over heavy weird. Medium bodied with light carbonation and a massive finish of old lady’s pot pouri fetish.
