On draft at 3rd pre-ZBF. Pitch black pour, creamy tan head that laces. Aroma of peat, leather, bourbon, vanilla and oak. Complex and delicate. Flavor is bitter coffee, caramel, some licorice, leather, bourbon and finished with more coffee and bitter. Creamy texture and smooth mouthfeel. Fantastic brew.

Black with a medium deep beige head. Sweet aroma with burned malt, dark chocolate, coffee and plenty of hops. Sweet flavour with burned malt, dark chocolate, espresso, wood, mac and vanilla. Finished dry from the hops. Lovely!

From tap at pre-ZBF. Pours dark brown to black with a huge, creamy, tan and dense head. Aroma is dark malty, roasted and breadish. Smooth roasted and dark toffee malty. Light alcohol presence. Subdued sweetness and nicely roasted malt flavoured. Smooth roasted and caramelish finish.

Draught Dark-beige/yellow head over nearly-black beer. Smoked, resiny nose, with liquorice, burning wood. Sweet, liquorice flavour, alcohol, hinting at whisky. Sweet impression, that is nowhere sugary. Vvery thick, well-bodied, velvety MF to near-buttery palated. Good, syrupy beer for a very nice evening @ the open woodfire.
