Bottle shared, 2 years old. Pours cloudy dark yellow with a tiny off white head. Aroma is fruity, yeast, sweet but a little sour. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter with a light sourness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Suspecting this was past it’s best..

TheJestersBeer (2123) - SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2012
330ml bottle. Medium amber, thin white head. Quite spicy aroma, lots of dried fruits, apricots, marzipan, almonds, more like a Barley Wine than a Saison. Semi-sweet, medium body and bitterness, very low CO2. Fruity, cloying taste, dried fruits, yeast, marzipan, walnuts, leather, tobacco, alcohol. Bottled in 2009, will last 5 years according to label – no way! (2012-03-16)

Ungstrup (29661) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2012
Bottled. A hazy red beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of pepper, yeast, lemons, and other fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, caramel, as well as some spices and lemons, leading to a thick finish, where the alcohol warms the palate. A bit thick for my liking of a Saison.

Countbeer (4647) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - NOV 13, 2011
Bottle: Had this one back in 2009: Small and quick disappearing lightly off white head on top of a hazy orange to darker orange colored beer. Smell some fruit, yeast, hay, hops and light citrusy. Taste is light sweet from malt and yeast, some fruity notes and a light bitterness. The aftertaste is a bit short, light sweet and lighter bitter.

Orange, muddy body. Sweet, malty, citric (oranges) uninteresting aroma. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour. Lacks some carbonation.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2014 15th May 2009
Copenhagen Beer Festival. Cloudy amber beer, thick creamy head. Soft creamy palate. Aromatic malt, sweet and a little floral. Juicy sweet saison.

29th October 2014
2009 bottle. Still lively, clear amber with a decent cream colour head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, good fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, some cream. Light touch of dried fruits and crystallised fruits. Still a little a peppery alcohol here. Smooth semi dry finish. Warming afterglow. Decent.
