Bottle: Vintage 2011: Label mentions 12%ABV: Served in a chouffe glass: Brown to black pour. Medium sized fluffy beige light brown foamy head on top of a black colored beer. Aromas of oatmeal, oat, cognac (since I know), some brown sugars, older dried leaves, horse feeder, some roast and marzepin. Flavours of oatmeal, meal, roast, cognac, liquorice wood, liquor, bitter, nuts, barley malt roast, raisin, marzepin, caramel, toffee, mocha, brown sugars, hay toast, wood and some smooth spices. Aftertaste is nutty, oatmeal, cognac sweets, hay, grains, liquor, bitter and roast. Low carbo, silky mouthfeel, full body and a creamy oily ish texture. Very well balanced. Didnít expect the oatmeal at all, but deep and complex. Like it...

Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours black with a small head. Aroma is almost out of this world, vanilla, oak, dark fruits and roasted malts. Taste is strong roasted malts, smooth and full bodied,coffee and tar, vinous with lots of malty goodies, just a tad warmth from the alcogol, nice.

330 ml bottle bought at the brewery and shared at Holmen1ís place. Clear prunejuice color with a small light brown head. Dried fruits,barrel notes raisins and vanilla on the nose. Sweet, alcoholc, roasted raisins. Well balanced, smooth and full bodied, Wonderfulyl nice bitter roasted finish.
