Stronger version of a Baltic Porter. Comparable with an Imperial Stout but without the heavily roasted malt character. This created a soft beer with strong hops in the finish.

Small bottle. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma is ample dark fruits, prune, raisin, roasted malt, chocolate, and earthy. The flavor is heavy with dark fruits, prune, raisins, some sweetness, chocolate, earthy, wood; sticks on the tongue a bit.

Black with off white foam. Aroma is light vegemite. Taste is roast, then strong sweetness. Nice, but not super complex. Overall, one of the best imperial porters I’ve had, but wish it had a bit more going on.

Seriously. It doesn’t get much better than this. This imperial porter is smooth, tasty and balanced like Philippe Petit. I would bath in this beer if I could.

Black colour with a light beige head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is toasty, black chocolate and coffee, ripe fruit. Flavor is strong coffee, slightly sweet and licorice, toasted malts and wooden notes. The final has a medium bitterness with a good integrated alcohol.

Black thin body, with almost no foam (I was expecting more on the appearance). Aromas of vanilla, but quickly fades away and just some alcohol stays there. Taste: chocolate, dark sugar, some roasted malts. The best thing about this beer is the aftertaste Its long and bitter-sweet. If it wasn’t for the aftertaste, my grade would have been less, but it does end up really nice. It gives you a great overall feeling.
